#6&7 Volunteer in Ban Coi 25,26JULY

By 09:44 , , , ,

In these 40 days, I'm working as an intern in an organisation called as Volunteer in Education Organisation. In short, V.E.O is an organisation that provide a placement for people who wants to volunteer in poverty area in Vietnam in term of education and improvement of lifestyle. I've joined this organization as an international coordinator who promoting the voluntary events to the foreigner in Vietnam. But what's attracted me the most is I get to join the volunteer works for free ! HAHAHA, so i got to visit some places in Hanoi for free! :P

SO, here come the first volunteer trips that I've participated! :3
Ban Coi - Coi Village
This village is located in the scope of Xuan Son Natural Conservation Park, therefore the environment there is so peaceful and natural. It's actually surrounded by flora and fauna with a lot of mountains. I was so amazed by the picturesque sights of the mother nature in this village, woke up at the morning with fresh airs, have a walk in the cool weather. Such a relieve by enjoying the natural scenery here. Also, all the pests were moving around you like dog,pig,cow,duck,buffalo,... and also their POOs -___- HAHA

We travelled around 4 hours to reach there by bus and we arrived there around 12pm. After getting some rest, then we began our voluntary works. I was in the teaching group which taking part in teaching some basic english to the children! :D These kids are really cute. Although I think most of them came here just to take candies but at least we have tricked them to learn some English at the same time! :)

We were actually just teaching some basic English vocabulary like father, mother, T-shirt, ... but for them, they have to spend long hours to learn these words :/ I've taught these two boys. and the little boy on the left was really smart, he could remember what I've taught him and repeated it :3 AWW, how adorable! But the other one is so naughty, HAHA. He kept cheating and peeking on other paper when they were having quiz xD! No matter how, they are still veryyyy cute! :3 I felt so accomplished when I've able to make them learnt some new vocabulary :P

Then, we've some rest and took our dinner.

At the evening, we were having Gala night. There was supposed to have camp fire but unfortunately it was raining the whole night. We had some party outside for a short while then we forced to move inside the stilt house TT. Aww, at first Gabby, Jom and I were planning to perform "Do you want to build a snowman" in three different languages, which were Polish, Filipino and Chinese. But the background music couldnt be played in the stilt house so, we couldn't perform it. TT AWW.. So jomina and I have sang "Count On Me". I really dont know where I got the courage to perform in front of so many people which I dont really familiar with :3 but I really had a fun night by playing and singing with them. It's amazing that we could blend in well even if we don't understand Vietnamese at all == HAHA.

The next morning, we had some trekking to the waterfall and also the cave :3 ! Had a lot of fun together :3 !
Then we travelled back to Hanoi.

It's really meaningful to join this kind of volunteer works. I was interested to join these kind of activities since I was young. I think it was because I have the support from my parents. They encouraged me to join voluntary works, even if I have to travel to other country by myself! I was really blessed that they were so supportive on any decision that I've made, giving me encouragement and blessing all the time :)!
The lesson that I've learnt in this trip must be APPRECIATION. Appreciate to what you have, appreciate to life, appreciate to the people who loves you! :)

After I reached in Hanoi, I have dinner with my host family :) How lovely are them <3 nbsp="" p="">
At night, Me, Mai. Gabby and Quynh Anh went to the night market at Old Quarter! :3 Ahhh, such a fun weekend <3 :="" p="">
All the things selling here are really cheap! I've spent so much money here, awww TT !!
